Responsibilities

The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting of all monies received and paid on behalf of the city, verifying that prudence and due diligence are used in the expenditure of city funds, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations for financial reporting, and the safeguarding of the city's assets.

The department accomplishes these responsibilities by performing the following functions:
