Child Care

Before and After School Program

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will begin registration for the 2023-2024 Before and After School Program on Wednesday, June 14th. Registration will be opened to City Residents first until Wednesday, June 21st. Starting Thursday, June 22nd registration will be open to residents and non-residents. October Day Camp - October 16, 2023

Thanksgiving Break Camp - November 20th - 22nd, 2023

Winter Break Camp - December 27th - 29th, 2023. January 2nd-5th, 2024. January 8th, 2024

President's Day Camp - February 19th, 2024 

Spring Break Camp - March 15th-22nd, 2024

Summer Camp Program

Summer Camp will operate May 30th Through August 4th. The program is held at the Jim Beech Recreation Center. Summer Camp is for children 6 to 12 years of age. To register or for more information please contact the Jim Beech Recreation Center at 407-905-3180  or Adrian Dorsey. Registration will begin for City Residents on March 6th. Open enrollment will begin March 20th and will run through April 29, 2023

Sports

Ocoee Youth Basketball League

The Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will start registration from October 30th- December 8th, 2023, for our Youth Basketball Winter Season.  You can register at https://secure.rec1.com/FL/ocoee-parks-recreation-fl/catalog. Upcoming Season Dates will be January 20th - March 2nd, 2024.

Midnight Basketball

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will offer Midnight Night Basketball for ages 12-18.New Dates To Be Announced. For more information please contact Tracy Wise-Donahey  at 407-905-3180

Girls Volleyball League

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department will have a Youth Girls Volleyball League. New Season Starts 9/11/24. The League will be for girls ages 8-16. Registration begins July 15th, 2023- September 2nd, 2023. You can register at https://secure.rec1.com/FL/ocoee-parks-recreation-fl/catalog. Late Night Youth Volleyball

Autism Gym Program

This program runs on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Jim Beech Recreation Center.

It is open to all ages and disabilities. Any family member is welcome. It is an open gym night so the kids of all ages can run, jump and play while the parents talk and relax. We have an annual holiday party, outings, a teen/social group, swimming lessons, fundraisers, Special Moms Of Outstanding Children with Handicaps (SMOOCH), and a special day out for our top moms including a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and lunch. We are growing and the program is definitely needed! For more info check out our Autism Gym website.

Independent Youth Organizations

Independent youth sport organizations provide a wide range of sports programs like baseball, football, soccer, and cheerleading. Independent organizations within the community that organize youth sports programs for Ocoee residents are listed below. Please contact the organization for more information regarding registrations and try-outs.

These classes are hosted by the J.M. "Miss Catt" Pisano. For more information please call 407-399-8045. They are located at the  Tom Ison Seniors and Veterans Center. 

Karate

(Isshinryu Budo Kai) 

Isshinryu Budo Kai Karate was founded in 1956 and has been taught ever since to American Marines in Okinawa Japan. Students are taught at their own rate of learning capabilities. Students develop self confidence, discipline, mutual respect and physical fitness through various methods of training. Our dojo has been affiliated with the Ocoee Recreation Department for over 35 years with current black belts that have been here since its beginning. Students must be a minimum of 6 years old or older. Classes are held year round at 6:30pm on Tuesday & Thursday nights at the Tom Ison Seniors and Veterans Center.
